Zoe-perry

Perry is she is Chicago native who was born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Perry made her debut in the television screen in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in the ABC sitcom Roseanne. She was not allowed to begin acting in front of her family until an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the anxiety it could cause. Perry acknowledged that she was not at ease in the stage during high school. However, she began doing it to make friends in Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry, after graduating from Boston University, relocated into New York in search of television roles. Her small part was in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness brought her back to California in search of theater jobs. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. Perry was in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie and Kevin McKidd. This was presented at West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's crime thriller The Family. In 2017, Perry had a minor role on ABC's thriller about politics Scandal which starred her father. The actress was also featured on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. The character was assigned an audition to the actress, even though she is a relative with the role.
