Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and activist for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is famous for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Her family was an artist family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in arts. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. Then she moved on to acting and modeling. The first two films she made were noticed, and she was awarded the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, MacGraw was named the top female box-office debut worldwide. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw has been married three times.
