Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. She began acting in stage shows during the 1950s starting in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she performed in a number of Broadway shows before becoming a star on national stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album of music It's time for Tina. Louise made her debut as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She played Griselda the main character of the film. While students of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her work across Broadway as well as Hollywood playing more serious characters as in contrast to her portrayal of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary however she also established herself as an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
