Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and performer. Her most well-known characters includes Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," the comedy television show. She is mostly an artist. According to her, music is always been her primary passion. When she reached the age of 12 her music began to take more serious form and she started training professionally. At the age of 13, she started writing herself songs. Her first cover album wasn't released until fourteen years later. From then on she's never looked back. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in the USA. Even though she spoke only English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico Orrantia is happy with her Hispanic background. Through studying Spanish and writing songs she is trying to keep the culture alive. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song that she has recorded, is a good instance. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut season of The X Factor. Orrantia received 4 "yeses" from the judges in the Seattle live auditions after having been selected from her YouTube entry. She initially auditioned to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. Three other female vocalists as well as her were put together to audition the rest of her music. They were eventually eliminated at the end of the fifth show.
