Pickler was raised in a difficult family. She was just two when she was abandoned by her mother to escape from her abusive husband. Then, in 1995, she re-entered into the world of Pickler and was granted the custody rights. This did not go well. Pickler, then 12, was remanded to her parents by court. They raised her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler was busy with raising her younger siblings in the absence of their parents. The mother of three admitted she did not find time to attend classes and started how to be a homemaker at an early stage. Pickler was an athlete in the middle and high school.
